Prairie Oaks

For Project Prairie Oaks, we transformed a completely unfinished basement into a warm, inviting, and highly functional lower-level retreat. This full-scale renovation embraced a modern minimalist design with cozy touches throughout, making the space both stylish and livable.
The newly completed basement now includes a recreation room, wet bar, bathroom, bedroom, and laundry room, each space thoughtfully designed and beautifully finished.

The heart of the basement is the rec room—spacious enough to fit a ping pong table and a welcoming seating area. A corner gas fireplace with built-in cabinetry and a tiled hearth brings both function and ambiance. Behind the sofa, a custom bar-top counter offers the perfect spot for entertaining guests or serving snacks and drinks.

The adjacent wet bar is a statement in both form and function. Custom cabinetry featuring tambour detailing adds texture and visual interest, while built-in bar fridges provide ample storage for beverages, making this space a true entertainer’s dream.
The bathroom is a spa-inspired escape, complete with a sleek floating vanity and a luxurious, custom-tiled steam shower—the perfect blend of modern design and comfort.

The bedroom is both serene and practical, featuring a custom closet organizer with built-in drawers to maximize storage without compromising on style.

Even the laundry room was designed with purpose, offering ample storage, counter space, and an undermount utility sink—all tucked into a clean, functional layout that makes chores feel just a bit more enjoyable.
