Closing off a frequently used walkthrough passage may sound funny until it is proven to provide a more functional kitchen layout.

We had to think outside the box and cater to functionality for this wonderful family of four. We also closed in a side window which was part of the bigger picture to allow for more cabinetry/storage. We recreated an archway to keep the character of the home and allow cohesiveness for an old meets new feel.
