Our goal with this project was to bring the family closer with the luxury of having an independent suite on the same property. We utilized every square inch available to make the new suite very functional and comfortable. We included a number of features to make it accessible such as a heated shower bench and a curb-less custom walk in shower for easy mobility.

Leaning towards the Scandinavian aesthetic throughout lent perfectly to the big-hearted grandma who was moving in. Vaulted ceiling and lots of windows allowed for lots of natural light while also giving privacy. This project is a great example of how expanding your existing space can outweigh moving to an entirely new home.
