Beaverbrook

Beaverbrook

Project Beaverbrook started with a leaking tub and quickly turned into a full home transformation. We updated the front entry with a new exterior door, added a screen door, installed heated tile flooring, and finished the space with beautiful wallpaper to create a warm welcome. In the kitchen, we customized the cabinets to reach the ceiling with glass inserts, swapped the range for a cooktop and wall oven, and added a drawer microwave to the island for a cleaner look. We added a main floor laundry room with custom cabinetry, heated tile floors, and a built-in hanging area. The pantry was reworked to include open shelving and a beverage fridge, and we converted the back room into a music space by replacing a window with patio doors. To create a spacious and calming primary suite, we combined the former den and guest bedroom, adding hardwood floors, wall mouldings, a custom walk-in closet with integrated LED lighting, and an art deco–inspired ensuite featuring a quartz bench shower, freestanding tub, heated floors, grab bars for future accessibility, bidet toilet, and statement wallpaper. We also installed custom stained glass windows that held deep sentimental value for our client. In the daughter’s space, we refreshed the bathroom with a tiled tub/shower, heated floors, new lighting, and wallpaper, then reworked the bedroom’s layout by adjusting the closet and closing off the original ensuite access. What started as a small repair became a truly personalized renovation, full of thoughtful touches throughout.
