Braemar

Braemar

This project began with the clients’ desire for an additional bathroom on the second floor to better meet the needs of their growing family. Initially, the plan focused on creating an ensuite bathroom, through several design discussions and client feedback, it became clear that the space needed to be accessible from both the primary bedroom and the other bedrooms on the second floor.

To achieve this, the existing bathroom was completely stripped down and rebuilt from the ground up. The new design features a stunning tub with a beautifully tiled surround, accented by hexagonal tiles and a quartz niche with an elegant arch top. The custom vanity boasts quartz countertops and includes a curved detail to subtly soften the transition to the toilet area, adding both functionality and aesthetic charm. Heated tile floors bring comfort and warmth, guiding you seamlessly into a reimagined walk-through closet that connects the bathroom to the primary bedroom.

The walk-through closet was designed by repurposing two existing closets— one from the former bedroom, now of which is the bathroom, and one from the primary bedroom. The result is a galley-style layout that maximizes storage and flow between the spaces.

Detailed planning, collaboration, and a strong focus on achieving the clients’ goals, the Braemar project successfully transformed the space into a functional, stylish, and family-friendly sanctuary.
