Our clients wanted to update their kitchen while keeping the character of their 100-year-old home. The space had a few challenges, including a big hump in the floor. To fix this issue, we added a new beam in the basement and two new teleposts.

We reworked the layout by moving the existing doorway to make room for more cabinetry along the side wall.

The kitchen now features painted HDF and wood veneer cabinets with glass inserts, a curved custom piece that opens and plenty of storage. We also had to get creative around an existing laundry chute, ensuring it fit seamlessly into the design. Silestone Taj Mahal countertops complete the look, balancing function and style.

A larger window above the sink connects to the existing exterior stone, and a new patio door, making the space feel open and inviting. New tile flooring with in-floor heating adds comfort and warmth throughout.

The result is a fresh, bright, and functional kitchen that honours the home’s history while giving our clients a space they truly love.
